Some thoughts today from Linda Stryker on Associate Engagement:
1. People who said their manager recognize them had an engagement score of 82%. People who said their managers do not recognize them had engagement scores of 38%. For something that is free, simple and should come from the heart anyway, it has more than a 2x positive impact on engagement.
2. Those who received a performance review had 11% better engagement. Again, this is free and something we are supposed to do anyway.
