Wine Wednesdays at Four Seasons
As a special feature in our dining room at Four Seasons, each Wednesday we offer a unique appetizer that is paired with a glass of wine. The appetizer is prepared from an action station we have located in the center of our dining room.
You may not serve wine in your community, but don’t let that stop you! You can try many recipes for "mocktails" or simply serve sparkling juices along with a special appetizer. It is especially exciting for the residents to enjoy the aroma and see it done "In Action". This is a simple, yet enticing promotion that we have incorporated into our calendar of events.
Here is an example of what we did last month:
Week One
Pinot Gris paired with Lump Cakes on Baby Greens and Fresh Cucumber Relish
Week Two
Chardonnay paired with Seared Diver Scallops on Polenta topped with Tapenade
Week Three
Shiraz paired with Indiana Seared Duck Breast on Wild Rice Cake
Week Four
Cabernet Sauvignon paired with Beef & Bleu (seared petit tenderloins with bleu cheese & grilled Baguette slices)
