Chef Vince Sturgis and the team at Christian Rest Home in Grand Rapids Michigan decided to put a National Nutrition Month Twist on the Friday afternoon social in the facility. They normally would serve cake, ice cream, cookies, cupcakes, sundaes, etc. However, in honor of National Nutrition Month, this past Friday they decided a healthy snack would be more in order. Chef Vince and his team created an edible garden for the residents and guests to enjoy. It was a huge success and nothing was left in the garden at the end of the event.
