Christian Rest Home serves Women's Service Board
This event was for our Women's Service Board, they are a small group of women volunteers from the Grand Rapids community that raise money for Christian Rest Home. They organize fundraisers with local churches and other community organizations to draw attention to the Rest Home as well as raise money since we are non-profit. They meet at the facility four times a year and we treat them to lunch since they have been so good to Christian Rest Home and our department. A lot of the money they raise has helped us in the kitchen with recent renovations and equipment purchases.
