Community Service: Northfield Food Pantry

Our Morrison staff at Weinberg called the local food pantry telling them our community wanted to get involved and asked what could we do to help them. They gave us a list of things they needed that were critical items to feed mothers and children.  So, during the month of May residents and staff came together for the Northfield Food Pantry to donate groceries and money.

The residents of Weinberg held a food drive one afternoon, collecting food items and monetary donations. Our Dining Services staff brought in numerous bags of groceries along with the residents collecting $95.00.

Our Morrison team delivered the donations to a much appreciative food pantry staff. This will be a project that will be done every other month with the residents.
