This reception was held in the Motherhouse Dining Room for the incoming Ohio Dominican University President, Peter Cymbolic. The Dominican Sisters of Peace have been very influencial in the growth of the University through out the years. Many of the Sisters have held positions in leadership and as teachers for the University. Sr. Mary Michael Spangler's family donated the library at the University.
The dessert station was filled with all hand made mini desserts and sabayon with fresh berries in the glasses. We garnished the tray with papaya crowned in half and placed on a couple pieces of leather leaf with fresh strawberries. The is an easy garnish, looks great for display trays!
We also served hand made canapés: parmesan baskets filled with goat cheese mousse, savory rugelach and gruyere cheese gourgeres.
