We started a program for birthdays in our community. These will be given to the residents on their actual birthday and presented to them in their dining room. We are also doing a special flavor cupcake of the month that is associated with the holiday or seasonal ingredients of that month. We sing happy birthday to them when it is presented. The plate that we use was a special order to accompany the presentation. The residents really enjoy the personal recognition that's given to them on such a special day.
