On Sunday, February 26th we had a Guest Chef come and prepare dinner for the residents at Three Crowns Park. Sunday evenings in Independent Living at Three Crowns Park are less than lively. So to mix things up and make them fun in February, Susan Heyden, Hospitality Manager, and her husband came in an prepared an authentic Italian Dinner to the delight of the residents who signed up for the event. The residents, staff and family members are still buzzing about this event and are asking when the next one will be.
With their meal, the residents recieved one glass of Italian wine, a Caesar salad, Penne Pasta with (from scratch) marinara sauce topped with fresh parmesan cheese, Chicken Parmesan, steamed broccollini and Tiramisu for dessert. Everyone raved about the sauce and chicken!
