As our Census continues to grow, the Central Baptist Village
Marketing team is not slowing down their outreach efforts and community
involvement. Chef Davis Knight was invited to host an offsite event with the
marketing team at the Mather Cafe in the neighborhood to help raise awareness of
our services.
The event was a Chocolate dipping class in honor of Valentine’s Day. The event, which quickly sold out, was a smash hit! The attendees learned some facts and history of chocolate, but also how to properly melt and temper chocolate, dip fresh strawberries, make french style ganache truffles and, a 5 minute chocolate mousse. Each attendee dipped their own strawberries, fruit, were treated to samples of different qualities of chocolates and the mousse.
All of us in Culinary Services look forward to more events like this, and doing our part to help Central Baptist Village grow, as well as raise neighborhood awareness of what the dining experience is all about at our community.
