Fresh from the farm at Villa St Benedict

Culinary Services here at Villa St. Benedict is Proud to Announce: Our Fresh from the Farm Produce.  See attached picture for all of the local produce that was harvested this morning, and picked up by Chef Jeremy to feature in our menus this week.  We have partnered with Green Earth Institute in Naperville to bring, local, organic and sustainable produce to our residents and employees.

Produce featured in this week's menu include:
Winter Carrots
Rutabaga
Red and White Cabbage
Leeks
Bok Choy

Carrots, Rutabaga, & Cabbage will be made for the coleslaw tonight with the pulled pork.

Leeks will be used for the cream of leek soup tomorrow's Lunch.

Bok Choy will be used in a stir fry for tomorrow's chef table.
