AMITL: Germany


The Gilbert Residence celebrated the Camaraderie of the German's with a Biergarten, which included German style snacks like a Rueben dip with Rye Bread, a variety of Strudel and German Chocolate cake.  At the end of month we did a full German meal that included, Dilled Cucumbers, Bratwurst and Sauerkraut, Hungarian Goulash, Potato Pancakes with Applesauce and Sour Cream and of course a glass of beer for those who wanted it. We finished up with Apple Strudel and Ice Cream for dessert

January was AMITL of a German. Residents enjoyed great food and company from fellow residents and guests. Chef Bruce and Chef Trevor prepared a meal consisting of Brats with Kraut, Ridergoulash (German Goulash), Au Gratin Brussel Sprouts, Braised Red Cabbage and Apples, Homemade Potato Pancakes and Cucumber Dill Salad. For dessert an excellent Apple Strudel with Whipped Cream and Caramel Sauce.

The Camaraderie of the Germans at Fulton Manor, Residents enjoyed Kielbasa, sauerkraut & kale potatoes, and a slice of dark rye bread.  And to top it all off homemade German applesauce.  It was a lot of fun for every one.
