March 14, 2016 was National Pi Day, the only time our world will ever celebrate the day so precisely! Why Pi Day? Do you remember pi? From high school math? It helped find the area of a circle, or the size of a round pie. The value of 3.1416, matches the date written at 3/14/16. At the Moorings we celebrated this coincidental connection between pi and the date with homemade key lime pi's decorated with the pi symbol!
