Lake Forest Place - Grilled Cheese Please!
Our Balmoral Memory Care
Unit at Lake Forest Place recently had a grilled cheese action station
at lunch. Each resident had their grilled cheese made just the way they
like it. Options included: white bread or
wheat bread, cheddar and/or Swiss cheese, tomato, onion, mushroom,
bacon and ham. Chef Patrick made each grilled cheese to order, right in
the dining room. The soup of the day was Tomato Bisque which paired
perfectly for the occasion! As you will notice from
the pictures, we use colorful plates and bowls on our Memory Care unit
as a part of our Dignified Dining program. Our residents have responded
well to the new plates, bowls and coffee cups, implemented in January
