We held a Dietary Skills Fair this week and it was a great success. We kept it simple and will be doing these monthly moving forward. It was great on multiple levels. We helped our employees better understand the tasks that we entrust in them and it was a great engagement time.
Everyone had a good time and were all cross trained into something they hadn't been exposed to before. Our stations were:
- Reading Diet Spreads with Katie complete with a hands on skills test
- Emergency Preparedness with Julie complete with a Emergency Menu review
- Knife Skills with Neil complete with a hands on skills test
- Purees with Jeff complete with a demo and hands on skills test of making a puree salad
