In honor of St. Patrick’s Day our Executive Chef Phu Lu made Irish Soda Bread with our residents. Since it’s a treat that the residents don’t have on the daily basis they were thrilled to be able to taste this traditional quick bread. A quick bread is a bread made without yeast, similar to biscuits and scones. An advantage of quick breads is their ability to be prepared quickly, and reliably. We were happy to share the experience of making Irish Soda Bread with the residents.
