In celebration of
National Nutrition Month at Smith Crossing, our dietitian Maggie Janik set up a
smoothie bar for breakfast. The residents were able to choose from a
variety of fruits and vegetables, as well as extras like yogurt, almond butter,
and flax seeds. As Maggie prepared the smoothies she educated residents
on the nutritional values and benefits to drinking the smoothies.
