Peaches Foster
Yields: 1 serving
Ingredients
½ C Frozen sliced peaches
1T Brown Sugar
1T Dark Rum
1T Peach Brandy
Dash of Nutmeg Ground
Dash of Cinnamon Ground
1T Butter
2 Slices Pound Cake
Whip Topping
Mint leaves and maraschino cherry to garnish.
Preparation
Melt butter in a small non stick skillet. Add the first 6 ingredients. (Move the skillet away from the cooking flame when adding alcohol) Return the pan to the flame and bring it to a boil. Tilt the pan towards the flame and the alcohol vapors will ignite. When the flame disappears pour this mixture over two slices of pound cake. Garnish with whipped topping, mint leaves and a maraschino cherry.
