Volunteer Celebration at the British Homes


On Wednesday April 25, Cantata Adult Life Services celebrated their volunteers. The meal started off with an arugula salad with candied walnuts, roasted beets, goat cheese, and a housemade raspberry vinaigrette. The entree selections were an oven roasted split cornish hen or an eggplant and zucchini pie with a pureed roasted red pepper sauce. Both entrees were served with grilled asparagus and roasted purple potatoes. For dessert we served a S'Mores Burger. We started with a bked puff pastry wedge, topped it homemade marshmallow, and homemade chocolate sauce.
