Each month chef Monica conducts a hands on baking class with the residents. This has been a huge success and we are seeing a good number of residents participating. We host this in our main kitchen and our residents dawn aprons and chef hats and really enjoy working in our commercial kitchen. Its great exposure for our department because as they are in the kitchen they get to see all that we do on a daily basis.

This past month Chef Monica made homemade bagels with them. We used a traditional recipe and let the residents roll out the dough and top them with whatever toppings they liked. Each resident was able to take their treats with them to enjoy in their apartments.
