Hola! On Tuesday April 5, 2016 The Moorings of Arlington Heights held its very first Taqueria Tuesday and it was muy fantastico! Residents and guests were invited to join dining services from 2:00pm-4:00pm in the dining room for authentic, fresh, made to order Mexican cuisine and margaritas. The menu featured carne asada, ancho chicken and blackened shrimp tacos along with some traditional favorites such as the chef's quesadilla, original taco and of course the ever beloved taco salad!
Latino music was played in the dining room and the dining services staff celebrated the fiesta liked atmosphere by all wearing sombreros. Needless to say after our amazing first time turn the residents with full stomachs and the staff were all ready for siestas! Stay tuned for next weeks Taqueria Tuesday update.
