Friday May 20th, Evangelical Homes of Michigan in
Saline hosted the annual Registered Dietitian Clinical Seminar. This
meeting was an opportunity for the RD's to discuss best practices and to
maintain their "focus on enriching the lives of seniors every day."
This was also an opportunity for Chef Todd Stapnowski to showcase his
talent and creativity by preparing a delicious lunch and a beautiful
display, with the assistance of Hospitality Manager Stephanie Patton.
For lunch, Chef prepared a roasted chicken wrap
with a cream cheese spread made with Dijon mustard, and fresh garlic
and parsley, tied together with fresh bibb lettuce and roma tomatoes in a
Lavash wrap. For the veggie lovers’, oven roasted vegetables with a
roasted red pepper and fresh basil cream cheese
spread wrapped in a sun-dried tomato Lavash with field greens was
served. To drink, Chef prepared a cucumber infused water with fresh
mint, ginger, and lemon. Lunch was “well received” and the meeting a
success!
