On Feb 13th Smith Village and Smith Crossing featured a Re-Think your drink station, where employees were educated on the sugar content of the beverages they consume. We had used small cups filled with sugar to indicate how much sugar content is actually in some popular items we consume regularly and it was very eye opening to the employees. Some beverages contained as many as 9 tablespoons of sugar, which really made an impact. The staff was eager to learn how much sugar was actually added to the beverages we consume and they were excited to learn about ways to make healthier decisions. It was a great learning experience for all to enjoy.
