Center Stage at Vista Grande Villa

Every Wednesday the Chef at Vista Grande Villa will do a Center Stage feature where he will prepare the meal for the resident to see. This week’s feature by Executive Chef John Weiler was an Orange Chipotle Pork Tenderloin with butternut squash risotto and grilled asparagus. The residents loved it!

Food Truck Fridays at Fountains at Bronson Place

As we roll into fall, we are looking for ways to continue the fun we had during our weekly summer cookouts. Therefore, starting in the month of September, we have introduced a new program called "Food Truck Fridays".  We highlight new trendy meals to our residents and associates. One of the food trucks we did recently was a ramen noodle station. Everyone loved it! Chef Emily and Andy had multiple woks with many different fresh vegetables cooked in broth. The benefit to this particular station was so many different combinations that our customers could choose from. It was a cool day, which made was a great marketing angle. This is one that we will be certainly featuring again in the near future!

Food Fight at Central Baptist Village

This month for display cooking our Chef Phu made his Food Fight 2018 Special; which featured Scallion Pancakes served with Teriyaki Pork. Not only were the residents able to enjoy this special but our employees and visitors as well, as it was featured as our Village Café special! We got great reviews from everyone and we are so proud of our Chef for representing us and his talent at the Food Fight.
