Wellness Running Teams at Smith Senior Living
This Memorial Day Smith Senior Living created a wellness running team, where runners were educated on how to train for their first 5K, sent weekly e-mails, training tips, and motivational quotes in preparation of the Big Memorial Day 5K and 10K. The Smith Team met up at both races and ran together to the finish line. Each participant received a runners goody bag with fresh fruit, healthy snacks, running necessities, and a certificate of recognition in accomplishment of their goal. Overall, there were about 15 participants from Smith Senior Living that completed the race. We look forward to training again next year and running together to the finish line.
