Wexner Heritage Village's Clinical Manager, Susan Rode and Ohio State University Interns, Rachel Maddox and Taylor Perry presented Healthier Foods to a group of Army Processing Center employees. Their presentation included an explanation of My Plate as well as three goals for adding whole grains, fruits and vegetables, and healthy protein sources. All three were presented with Certificates of Appreciation for helping the overall employee wellness of their command.
They served samplings of three foods high in fiber and lean protein options.
