A few weeks ago, Central Baptist Village had the pleasure of
taking part in celebrating the 70th wedding anniversary of one of our resident
couples.
After some discussion, the culinary team, agreed that a
simple cake was not enough for such a milestone. So, we agreed to upscale the
event!
We set aside and "reserved" a table in out dining room,
decorated the table, and brought in sparkling cider, fresh flower, homemade
chocolates and fresh dipped strawberries. Lastly, we had the entire culinary
staff sign a card for them.
The couple was thrilled, as were their dinning neighbors and,
because it was so well received, we have decided to add it to our growing list
of ongoing culinary amenities and celebrations.
