The Western Home Communities welcomed John Deere members this past week to talk about the past, present, and future of the John Deere Company which has been a huge part of the Cedar Valley for years. Residents reminisced about the times that many of them spent either in the factory, the fields where they used Deere products, or the offices where business took place. The dining services department put together a green and yellow inspired table scape full of John Deere memorabilia, delicious cookies, and even green punch to boot. It was a great day with many residents feeling proud of the company that they have called home for many many years and will be a topic of supper conversation for weeks to come.
