Omelet bar is a hit at Western Home Communities


Omelets were flying up and back into the pans of the chefs at Windcove this past week, where residents were treated to the traditional "breakfast at supper" evening.  Residents had the pleasure of choosing their own ingredients they desired while chefs from around the campus prepared to perfection a delicious omelet.  You could hear the giggles from residents as they watched in amazement as chefs cooked their meal.  All were excited to have something different and enjoyed the conversation they had with chefs.  The dining services team prides themselves on interaction with residents to better the communication between the dining room and the kitchen.  Chefs are able to share their expertise and may even get a pointer or two from residents who enjoyed cooking in their own homes for many years.  A great evening had by all who attended the supper and an event that will be repeated as the weeks continue to fly by!
