Traveling Chefs at Weinberg Community
On October 24th Weinberg Community hosted it's third annual traveling chefs event. The meal was dairy and gave our chefs a chance to show case their talent.
Alan Miller presented a warm double chocolate waffle cake
Jason Madel did a vegetable chip crusted lake trout with tequila-avocado puree
Aurelio Ortega did pan roasted salmon with a brown sugar-whiskey glaze
Carol Ardel provided us with a brulee tart of spinach and aritchoke
Benny Cheung made potato-dill laktes wraps with smoked salmon and caramelized apples
The residents were overwhelmed with the vairety of delicious food, aromas and action on display. Ken Johnston and I would like to thank our chefs for really setting the standard of what traveling chefs is all about. We look forward to starting our 4th year of traveling chefs.
