St. Patrick's Day at Smith Village


 On March 17th, the Smith Village team hosted a St. Patrick's Day themed dinner for all residents and guests to enjoy. Chef started out with a potato, bacon and cabbage soup, a roasted pear and blue cheese salad, hand carved corned beef with seasoned cabbage and carrots, red potatoes, a fish and chips station, Shepard's pie, and traditional Irish stew. 


The evening finished off with an assorted dessert table, including homemade bread pudding, shamrock cookies, mint pudding parfaits, pound cake, and a bailey's Irish cheesecake. The employees and residents had a great time dressing up for the event and everyone loved the food. We all had a great time and the residents are looking forward to our next big event.
