Each month, the Dining Department at Smith Crossing teams up with the Marketing Department for Lunch and Learns, to teach potential residents about our community. This month our wellness coordinator, Phil Blundell spoke to the group about how we can integrate wellness into our lives in order to maximize our physical, mental, social, emotional, intellectual, and vocational health and well-being. Phil’s presentation was followed by a luncheon prepared by Sous Chefs Monica Tooth and Ryan O’Connell. The guests had tomato bisque, a choice of hand carved beef tenderloin or a fandango salad with grilled chicken, loaded with seasonal fruits and topped with raspberry vinaigrette, and warm chocolate bomb cake. Both the presentation and the food were enjoyed by all.
