On September 3, 2014 Huron County Medical Care employees took the ice bucket challenge to raise money for ALS and their own Resident Council. Twenty-one staff members took the challenge with resident's cheering them on.
Resident's watched as staff were doused with buckets of ice water and a grand finale involving a front end loader. Dining Services took up a special fund and Dining Services Manager, Liz Gingrich, enjoyed pouring ice water over Director, Gina Knoblock's, head.
