Holiday Gala at Atria Kinghaven

On December 4th, Atria Kinghaven in Riverview held their annual holiday gala, this year increasing the number of meals served. Chef Andre Bracy and several other Morrison Senior Living chefs, served meals to around 430 people in just a few hours!  The evening started out with strolling h'orderves which included sliced beef crostini with horseradish pesto sauce, shrimp cocktail, assorted gourmet cheeses, pulled pork sliders, caprese salad skewers with balsamic reduction, and seasonal fruit skewers.
Dinner was served simultaneously on all three floors of the building. Entrees included two carving stations; slow-roasted prime rib with au jus and apple-smoked pork loin, as well as a vegetarian option; vegetable wellington.

The dining experience was completed with a room dedicated wall to wall with desserts. The feature dessert was cherries jubilee which was made to order. In addition to the exhibition station dessert, there were and assortment of petit fors, cakes, pies, and mini profiteroles with warm milk chocolate.
The night was a great success thanks to the many that helped plan, prepare, and serve for this event.
