January King Home Reserve Dinner

This is the 1/16 Reserve Dinner for the James C. King Home themed "New Year's Revolution". The dinner was attended by fourteen guests at the 901 apartment in our 1020 Grove building. The dinner consisted of five courses, four of which were paired with various wines. The menu is as follows:

COCONUT-BASIL SHRIMP
Sauteed shrimp and Prince Edward Island mussels finished with saffron
infused coconut milk, ginger, garlic and basil

BEGGAR'S PURSE
Filo pastry filled with Spanish chorizo, potatoes and drunken cheese and
served with English pea puree

INTERMEZZO
Chai tea sorbet with candied ginger

RACK OF LAMB LOLLIPOP
Center cut double rack of lamb chop, pan roasted and served with potato
fondant, pomegranate demi sauce and broccolini

CREPE NAPOLEAN
Homemade crepes layered with chocolate ganache and served with

butterscotch custard
