Kwanzaa Celebration at The Fountains


Here at The Fountains at Franklin, we have a mostly African American population, so celebrating Kwanzaa is something we do every year.  This year we made a fantastic Seafood Gumbo to start.  Entrée choices included Jerk Chicken and Fried Cornmeal Catfish with choices of Collard Greens, Hushpuppies, Macaroni & Cheese and String Beans with Carrots.  Corn muffins accompanied the feast, which was topped off with a delicious Sweet Potato Pie.
