Super Supper at Robineau Residence

On January 13, Morrison hosted the monthly Super Supper at Robineau Residence in Skokie, IL. We kicked off the new year with the theme "Celebrating America's Diversity" as well as celebrating Martin Luther King Jr's birthday. The tables were set up with flags from around the world and quotes from Martin Luther King Jr. The Director of Independent Housing and the Executive Director spoke about the cultural differences in the world as well as at Robineau. They also spoke about inclusion and how important it is. As the soup was being passed out, the residents sang "It's A Small World." The menu consisted of cuisines from around the world and was prepared by Chef Aurelio: Yemenite Soup, Eggs, Fried Wontons, Italian Beef, French Green Beans, Toasted Quinoa, and a fresh Tropical Fruit Salad.
