Valentine's celebrations from around the regions

The Culinary team came together again this year for the Second Annual ‘"Gourmet Strawberry Sale” at Central Baptist Village

Offering 2 different options, an assorted half dozen strawberries, dipped and rich chocolate, nuts, mini morsels and drizzle; and a classic half dozen that simply highlighted dark and white chocolate.

The sales came in virtually even and outpaced last years sales.

Thank you to everyone who produced and purchased this years Valentines Day treats!!!

At NorthPointe Woods, we held a Valentine's Day Sweets Sale in our café. Residents & Staff had the option of white or milk chocolate covered strawberries and pretzel sticks! They made great Valentine's gifts and boosted our cafe sales for February!

For a special Valentine's Day treat the team at Cantata Adult Life Services made chocolate covered strawberries for the residents and staff. For our residents on special diets we made chocolate strawberry smoothies. Everyone really enjoyed the special treat.

We have been in isolation for two weeks because of an influenza bug in the building.  We couldn't do our usually Valentine's Day celebration so we just had to make do.

Delivered to our couples were chocolate covered strawberries and wine.  Each couple held up a sign of their years of marriage.  Everyone here is a bit stir crazy being stuck in their rooms so this was a nice treat and a nice way to recognize them on their day.

To celebrate Valentine's Day, the activities department hosted a Valentine's Day auction where the female residents were given a chance to win a date with a handsome gentleman. A special lunch was served for these lucky ladies and their dates. As pictured above, lunch began with Caesar salads. The main entree consisted of chicken alfredo stuffed pasta shells and breadsticks. This delicious meal ended with a piece of strawberry cream pie for dessert. We hope everyone else had an enjoyable Valentine's Day at their facilities!
