The Gilbert Residence was honored to welcome the Hubbardston Irish Dance Troupe for our St. Patrick's Day celebration.  The troupe consisted of twenty girls, ages ranging from four years old to seventeen.  They performed eight routines including a ballet that my lovely niece Michaela Clark choreographed.  The residents enjoyed it very much, tapping their feet, clapping and waving their arms.

An engaged staff does not always guarantee happy residents, but here at Fulton Manor we consider it an important first step. Sometimes, all it takes is permission to wear silly hats for the day to bring out the smiles. This St. Patrick's Day, rainbow treats were also hidden throughout the building.

We had our St. Paddy's Day dinner on Tuesday and we featured a Chef's Table. We used existing props that we had around the property and Chef Kathy's creativity for a perfect display!

Shakin' Things up for St. Patrick's Day at Walter Reuther Psychiatric Hospital
For St. Patrick's Day, in addition to the traditional holiday meal featuring corned beef, cabbage, red skinned potatoes and Irish soda bread, Chef Dannie whipped up some creamy "Minty" shakes. The patients were thrilled and penned themselves as " Lucky Little Leprechauns" who found their Pot of Gold.

The Irish eyes were smiling at Chelsea Retirement Community with festivities for St Patrick’s Day which began with a breakfast meal featuring shamrock pancakes, rainbow bacon and fruit and the pot of gold (scrambled eggs) at the end of the rainbow!

Ain’t no party like a ShorePointe Village St. Patty’s Day Party! Our residents were out in full force and all their green glory today! We offered Shamrock shakes, green beer, and hot pretzels to our party goers. It was nice to see so many family members come out and share in the fun and live entertainment.  We will be trying to keep the party going on into the night, with corned beef and cabbage and Irish soda bread.
