What a great Independence Day Celebration at Atria Kinghaven. It was an all-day BBQ event, the Atria community enjoys lunch that included grilled hotdogs, grilled hamburgers served with macaroni salad and potato chips. To add a twist the event the Dining Room Manager LaToya served red, white and blue parfaits.
Chef Dannie carries the bbq into dinner, serving bbq ribs and bbq chicken. To accompaniment the entrees baked beans, redskin potatoes salad and corn on the cob was served as well and of course traditional apple pie.

At the Felician Sisters Michigan in Livonia we thought we would do a new take on the Stars and Stripes theme of the United States national flag. We layered strawberry, vanilla, and blueberry panna cotta to match the color of the flag, then continued the theme with a star shaped sugar cookie and stripes of raspberry coulis. The sisters loved the concept and enjoyed the flavors of the season even more.
The whole day was a picnic theme starting with a lunch of grilled to order hamburgers and hot dogs fresh of the grill, potato salad, and baked beans. Then continued through dinner with BBQ St. Louis Style Ribs, grilled corn on the cob, and baked potatoes.
Hope everyone had a great Fourth of July and had as much fun with their menu as we did.

The Fountains at Franklin celebrated the 4th of July with a special buffet brunch. The BBQ Chicken, Corn on the Cob & Macaroni and Cheese were all big hits, but the make your own Ice Cream Sundae and cones were the favorites! Nothing says summer like a double dip cone!

This 4th of July Smith Village featured an all American BBQ, where we served our famous BBQ Ribs, house battered and fried chicken quarters, hot dog and baked potato bars, watermelon and feta salad, fresh fruit display, and delicious homemade pies and desserts. We finished the night off with an ice cream sundae bar, which was enjoyed by all. The residents and their guests had a great time enjoying their 4th of July BBQ at Smith Village.
