Smith Village Luau Night

This  July Smith Village hosted a Hawaiian Luau night for all the residents and their families to enjoy. The evening started off in the main dining room, where the residents and their guests enjoyed a traditional Hawaiian themed dinner,  with a whole roasted suckling pig, grilled polenta, and other Hawaiian favorites. The roasted pig was carved tableside by our cook Izzy Garcia, throughout the night. The evening then progressed into the community hall, where the residents enjoyed traditional Hawaiian music, luau dancing, and Hawaiian themed drinks.

The residents had a great time, dressing in their Hawaiian themed attire, sipping on pina coladas and margaritas, and enjoying the traditional whole roasted pig. It was a great event,  and everyone is already asking about it for next year!
