The Episcopal Church Home celebrates the Superfood: Tomato

Chef Eric Metcalf of The Episcopal Church Home served up fresh tomatoes and basil from our garden along with fresh mozzarella topped with a balsamic vinegar reduction.  Over four days Chef Eric moved from dining room to dining room throughout the community and his final stop on the show was The Bishop’s Bistro as an exhibition for residents, staff and guests.

Fresh from our garden The Episcopal Church Home served tomatoes in three ways for our weekly Happy Hour Event.  Bloody Mary’s, tomato and drunken goat cheese bruschetta and Tomato/Mozzarella skewers were the evenings offering.     The meal featured Smoked Prime Rib out of our new smoker!
