At The Evangelical Homes of Michigan-Saline we had our weekly superfood special @ The Blossom Café where we featured the superfood of the month—apples! We had a tasty turkey and cheddar sandwich with apple slices, fresh spring mix and red onions on a ciabatta bread..it was a hit! We heard some of our customers mention that they would like to see it on our menu. Most of the items are available at our café so we may see more requests for this sandwich. In addition, we have featured apple infused water thru out the month for our hydration station in honor of the superfood for September. We will be having another special next Wednesday where we will be finishing off the month with an apple smoothie.
