This February at Smith Crossing, Chef Davis Knight launched a program to help residents celebrate their wedding anniversaries. Residents are invited to have a special dinner in the main dining room on the date of the anniversary. We set the “anniversary table” with special table settings and the couples receive complimentary fresh flowers, bottle of wine, anniversary card signed by the dining department, special appetizer, and chocolate covered strawberries made by Chef Davis. The residents are enjoying the anniversary dinners, and it is a special treat for us to see how much love they have for their significant others after so many years of marriage.
