At the Highland’s Assisted Living of Lake Forest Place- Patrick, our talented Sous Chef, and Megan, Assistant Director of Healthcare Dining Services and Dietitian, hold meetings with the Assisted Living residents to discuss various dining topics. Meetings focus on:

• Favorite Dishes
• Action Stations
• Resident Questions
At last month's meeting, mini mushroom tarts and refreshing cucumber mint water were served. These meetings help us to better meet the residents’ preferences and develop new ideas to make meals more appealing and enjoyable for our residents. Having both a culinary and management representative at the meeting allows us to answer all questions and respond to all concerns. After the meeting, the notes taken are used to develop goals and implement changes to improve the meal time experience
