Blended Burger Project

As the Executive Chef at Brecon Village, I was given the opportunity to enter a national contest sponsored by the James Beard Foundation called the Blended Burger Project.  My simply delicious recipe combines mushrooms with ground beef to create a more nutritious, earth friendly and sustainable burger.  Residents and staff are loving the juicy flavor of the enhanced beef.   The Good ol' Boy Burger is now featured on our menu, and combines cheddar cheese, sweet pilsner onions, field greens, and fry sauce served on a toasted split top bun.
