Some of our residents enjoyed a special dinner to remember Italy, in
the midst of it's aftermath of the tragic earthquake that took place
last month. The highlight of my menu was from a region in Italy that is
known for its local pasta. One dish Amatrice
Pasta, named after the town in which it was founded Amatrice,
Italy, once a desired tourist area is now flattened.
This dinner was
meant to remember that the world is bigger than just what's going on in
our own lives, be grateful for what we have and honor
the connection food gives us to others. Our thoughts and sympathies go
out to all those affect by this awful disaster.
