Chef Jeremy and the team at Waters of Oakdale are award winners in
the eyes of the residents. The Minnesota State Fair or as it is known
up here "The Great Minnesota Get Together" has just wrapped up and
before it was over we brought the fair to some of
our residents. System Chef Jeremy Thornhill and the team at Waters of
Oakdale treated the residents to some fair favorites during their happy
hour last week. Tantalizing Maple Bacon Cheese Curds and Meatloaf on a
stick with Parm Potatoes and a smoked ketchup
were served and the reviews are in and... they all say he wins
1st prize.
The Minnesota State Fair is one of the top five fairs in the nation
for size and attendance with reports of over 2 million in 12 days this
year in attendance. To bring a piece of this cultural icon to our
residents is very important and a wonderful piece
of what we get to do each and every day.
