Our longtime pastry chef, Henry, has been a staple here at the
Fountains. Residents stop him in the hallway and ask for him to make
their favorite dessert or cookie. When catering events are planned, the
highlight of the events always are centered on what
is made for dessert. Residents swoon when they smell the delicious
loaves of bread that are baked by Henry when they arrive for their
meal. With Henry's earnest efforts to deliver the best baked goods each
day, our sweet-tooth and bellies have enjoyed the
fruits of his labor. One of his staple recipes that is highly favored
here at the Fountains is his Tiramisu. With Henry's temporary absence,
Chef Emily closely followed this recipe so a resident could still enjoy
this decadent dessert for her housewarming
party. The dessert was delightful and we thank Chef Emily for
recreating one of Henry's most favored delicacies! We also thank Henry
for all the hard work he has done over the years. We look forward to
many more delicious treats he has in store for us.
