Here at Botsford Commons in Farmington Hills Michigan, we host a monthly dinner for the Independent Living residents. These dinners have been hugely popular and have drawn more and more participation each month. When we started there were as few as 12 but now every month we can expect 40-50 residents to join us for the meal.
This month we featured:
Fresh Cream of Aspargus Soup
Boursin Filled Beggar's Purses
Grilled Salmon with a Mustard-Dill Cream Sauce
Sauteed Petit Pan Squash
Almond Orzo Pilaf
Housemade Linzer Tart for Dessert
The food at these dinners has lead to an increase in the daily dining as well. We now expect at least 25 per dinner, where as in the past is was as little as 4. Keep up the great work Chef Grant Arnold and the rest of the team!
