Community Outreach at Central Baptist Village

This year CBV decided to do something a little different. Over the years CBV has built a strong relationship and partnership with the local Salvation Army. We have supported them continuously over the years in the Angel Tree Program at Christmas, we make Easter baskets for the less fortunate and collect school supplies at the start of the year to get the kids off on the right foot.
This has just become routine for us here and we thought this year, we can do more...so we decided to go beyond the partnership with Salvation Army and we went to the Feed My Starving Children Foundation and packaged meals that were going to be sent to Uganda. This was a great team building experience as well as reminded us all why we are in the field. It's a reminder on how important proper nutrition is across the world and how many children die each day due to malnutrition. I think it was not only a fun experience but also made us all feel good about doing more. Can't wait to go again!
